In the physical world, Obi-Wan NICKobi goes by the handle Nick Schiner, a former public school elementary school teacher, technology integration specialist, and central office leader who is currently serving as Digital Promise’s Project Director for Maker Learning.

Over the course of his decade-plus career in education, Nick has combined the power of learners’ interests and needs with innovative technologies to create and advocate for incredible learning experiences.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Towson University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from Johns Hopkins University.
